New contract support service for staff at MedH

From 1 October, a contract support service will be available at the Department of Medicine, Huddinge (MedH), which all researchers at the department can turn to for assistance.

The contract support service will provide support and guidance to researchers throughout the contract process and serve as a point of contact with the department management, central functions at KI, and external parties.

The establishment of the contract support service at MedH follows a decision by the University Director that all departments at KI must have a contract support function corresponding to at least 50 per cent of a full-time position.

A valuable resource for researchers

The contract support role at MedH will be shared by Nursen Cetrez and Carin Dahlberg. Both have extensive experience of working with a wide range of contract processes and are already working at MedH.

"We have worked with many different types of agreements and know that each process comes with its own questions and challenges. We have seen how valuable good support can be when establishing an agreement. In our role as contract support advisers, we look forward to drawing on that experience to provide an accessible, practical and effective support service for our researchers," say Nursen Cetrez and Carin Dahlberg.

Klas Karlsson, Head of Administration at MedH, is pleased that Nursen Cetrez and Carin Dahlberg have accepted to take on the role as contract support advisers.

"With their extensive experience in this area and their strong connection to the department, they will be a valuable resource for our researchers. Their work will help streamline contract processes, allowing more time to be devoted to research," says Klas Karlsson.
