MedH-researchers awarded 29 million SEK from The Swedish cancer society
Nine researchers from the Department of Medicine, Huddinge (MedH) are awarded a total of SEK 29 100 000 from The Swedish cancer society - Cancerfonden. Congratulations to:

Marcus Buggert, Center for Infectious Medicine (CIM), is awarded SEK 2 400 000 for the research project: "Define the nature of T cell responses in chronic lymphocytic leukemia."
Hannes Hagström, Gastroenterology and rheumatology, is awarded SEK 3 000 000 for the research project: "Förbättrad prediktion och behandling av levercancer - populationsbaserade studier."
Eva Hellström Lindberg, Center for Hematology and Regenerative Medicine (HERM), is awarded SEK 6 750 000 for the research project: "Disease mechanisms and targeted treatment of the myelodysplastic syndromes.
Nicole Marquardt, Center for Infectious Medicine (CIM), is awarded SEK 2 400 000 for the research project: "Harnessing human adaptive-like tissue-resident Natural Killer cells for treatment of lung cancer."
Jenny Mjösberg, Center for Infectious Medicine (CIM), is awarded SEK 3 750 000 for the research project "Determining the colonic lymphocyte landscape for optimized treatment of patients with inflammatory bowel disease and metastatic colorectal cancer."
