MBB celebrates ERC success at Svarta Räfven
On September 15, colleagues from the Department of Medical Biochemistry and Biophysics (MBB) gathered at Svarta Räven to celebrate the department’s three recipients of the ERC Starting Grant 2026: Florian Rosenberger, Amanda Andersson Rolf, and Bjørt Kragesteen.
The three researchers are among the five Karolinska Institutet scientists awarded this year’s prestigious European research grant, which enables outstanding early-career researchers to pursue groundbreaking ideas and establish themselves as independent research leaders.
During the celebration, the awardees’ research achievements were recognised together with colleagues and MBB’s Vice Head of Department, Gonçalo Castelo-Branco, who congratulated them on this significant accomplishment.
