Joint catering provider for all of KI since 1 January 2026
As of 1 January 2026, a new agreement for restaurant and catering services applies across Karolinska Institutet (KI). Nordrest (Högskolerestauranger) continues as the provider for Campus Solna and, as of the turn of the year, has also taken over the delivery of catering and restaurant services for all KI locations. From the start of the contract, all catering orders must be placed exclusively through Nordrest (Högskolerestauranger) in accordance with KI’s procured agreement.
The agreement means that Nordrest (Högskolerestauranger) remains the supplier for Campus Solna and that, from January 2026, the following areas are also included:
- SÖS (Southern catering)
- Flemingsberg (Southern catering)
- Danderyd (Northern catering)
- KI Catering Solna (Northern catering)
- Campus KI Solna (restaurants and catering)
Important information
From the contract start date on 1 January 2026, all catering orders must be made exclusively via Nordrest (Högskolerestauranger), in accordance with KI’s procured agreement.
