Get ready for CHaSE 2026, the career fair for students
On 23 October, the CHaSE career fair will take place in Aula Medica at Karolinska Institutet. The fair is open to all students and offers the opportunity to meet employers and professionals in life science and healthcare sectors, build your network, and explore future career paths.
Noemi Vanacore is secretary of the Business Committee at Medicinska Föreningen and has spent the past year working on preparations for this year’s CHaSE (Careers in Health and Science Exposition).
For someone who has never attended before, what is CHaSE?
“CHaSE is KI’s annual career fair, and an incredible opportunity for students at every stage of their academic career to connect with companies, professionals and other students within the life science and healthcare ecosystem in the region. It’s also a chance to explore potential career paths and gain a better understanding of what the industry is actually like."
What can students gain from attending the fair?
“I would say insights into different companies and organisations in the life science and healthcare industry and discover the opportunities they offer. CHaSE is also a chance to build meaningful connections with established professionals in the industry and with fellow students.”
Which aspects of being involved do you enjoy most?
“As Secretary of the Business Committee, I have spent the last year overseeing the Corporate Relations team, which is responsible for securing and liaising with companies that will exhibit at CHaSE. One of the most rewarding parts is seeing all the hard work come together and the satisfaction of finalising every company’s attendance.”
Can I still register for CHaSE 2026?
“Yes! You can register until the day before the fair. The registration deadline is 22 October.”
