Wera Ekströms fond för pediatrisk forskning
Fonden utdelar stipendier inom det pediatriska forskningsområdet, i första hand med inriktning på de sjukdomstillstånd som drabbar ämnesomsättningen. Totalt belopp tillgängligt för utdelning uppgår till cirka 600 000 kronor.
Bidrag kan sökas för en sammanhängande period om 3–12 månader för följande ändamål:
- Doktorandstipendium (21 500 kr/mån) för registrerade doktorander.
- Post-dok-stipendium för forskare i början av sin postdoktorala forskarkarriär, högst 8 år efter disputation (25 000 kr/mån)
- Forskarrekryteringsstipendium för forskarstuderande som ännu inte är registrerade doktorander (18 000 kr/mån).
I ansökan (SEB:s ansökningsblankett) ska den sökande ange vilket stipendium som sökes samt för hur många månader. Medel för resebidrag eller stipendium till icke namngiven person betalas inte ut. Man kan inte söka medel för finansiering av annan person/doktorand. Den sökande kan inte tilldelas mer än sökt belopp.

- Fullständigt ifylld ansökningsblankett.
- CV (max 2 sidor). Bifogas som bilaga.
- Publikationslista (10 utvalda referenser). Bifogas som bilaga.
- Intyg från handledare eller enhetschef/s k stipendieinspektor där denne åtar sig ansvar för stipendiets användande. Bifogas som bilaga.
- Den som tidigare har tilldelats stöd ur fonden ska bifoga en progressrapport som beskriver hur medlen har använts. Progressrapporten ska vara signerad av stipendieinspektor. Bifogas som bilaga.
Projektbeskrivning, kostnader för projektet och förteckning över övrig finansiering.
CV inklusive relevant publikationslista bifogas.
Intyg från handledare där handledaren åtar sig ansvar för stipendiets användande.

För utdelning som understöd till främjande av genetisk forskning, företrädesvis inom humangenetik. Understöd tilldelas i första hand svenska forskare för forskning i eller utom Sverige inom ämnesområdet humangenetik, i andra hand till utländsk forskare för forskning i Sverige. Anställning med lön är inte något hinder för att tilldelas stipendium och samma person kan få stipendium flera gånger. Det framgår i webbansökan vilka bilagor som ska bifogas. Om medel erhållits från stiftelsen tidigare ska också en redovisning av uppnådda resultat bifogas. Prioritet kommer att ges till yngre forskare som är på väg att bygga upp sin forskningsverksamhet. Tilldelade medel måste användas till det som anges i ansökan.

Research projects - Medac
Medac announces a Nordic grant for research projects focusing on stem cell transplantation to support Nordic resident physicians and specialists within hematology. The grant is 12.000 euro, and one or two projects will be awarded by the end of 2024. Clinical projects within allogeneic stem cell transplantation are eligible. Eligible applicants for the grant are Nordic resident physicians and specialists within hematology. Research/projects involving one or more of the Nordic countries will be prioritized.

Forskningsanslag - Svenska Läkaresällskapet samt Stiftelsen Söderström-Königska sjukhemmet
Stöder i första hand forskningsprojekt som främjar psykiatrisk kunskapsutveckling i allmänpsykiatri, barn- och ungdomspsykiatri, äldrepsykiatri och rättspsykiatri och psykiatrisk kunskapsutveckling. Forskning som uppmärksammar kvinnors speciella situation inom psykiatrin uppmärksammas. Behöriga att söka är forskare med klinisk anställning inom hälso- och sjukvården som har disputerat i Sverige för högst tio år sedan inom preklinisk eller kliniskt medicinsk disciplin. Bidrag är värda upp till SEK 500,000 under högst 18 månader. Maximalt ett års förlängning kan beviljas.

Forskningsprojekt - Brottsofferfonden
Stödjer forskningsprojekt där det övergripande målet är att öka kunskapen om brottsoffer och förbättra bemötandet och stödet till brottsoffer. Forskning kan bedrivas inom olika ämnesområden, till exempel kriminologi, sociologi, psykologi, socialt arbete, rättsvetenskap, ekonomi, media och medicin. Doktorandprojekt finansieras om en disputerad forskare står som huvudsökande.

Stipendium - Svensk Reumatologisk Förening i samarbete med Amgen
Stipendiet utdelas som forskningsanslag och förvaltas av stipendiatens forskningsinstitution. Anslaget stödjer experimentell eller klinisk forskning kring psoriasisartrit och omfattar 50 000 kronor. För att få söka stipendier från SRF måste sökanden vara medlem och betalt medlemsavgift i SRF under det året stipendiet utlyses och året dessförinnan (2023-2024).

Stipendier - Svensk sjuksköterskeförening i samarbete med
Carl-Axel Palms omvårdnads-och utvecklingsstiftelse Stipendier ges till både juniora och seniora forskare, i första hand till legitimerade sjuksköterskor i Sverige och Norden. Stiftelsen främjar utveckling och forskning av omvårdnad främst med inriktning på värdegrunds- och etiska frågor inom omvårdnad och omsorg. Stipendiet är på 20 000 kr - 40 000 kr och 1 - 3 stipendiater beviljas.
Stipendiets syfte är att minska ohälsa genom att bidra till ökad forskning om barn och ungas sjukdom (0-18 år), livsmiljö och hälsa. Stipendium kan sökas av legitimerade sjuksköterskor som bedriver forskningsarbete eller utvecklingsarbeten kring hur ohälsa kan förebyggas och hur stöd kan ges till barn och unga i åldern 0-18 år.
Legitimerade sjuksköterskor kan söka stipendier från Mimmie Dahlbecks fond för vidareutbildning utomlands inom operations-, anestesi- och intensivvård.

Forskningsanslag – Formas
Utlysningens långsiktiga syfte är att främja en tydlig förflyttning av kunskapsläget som bidrar till att lösa samhällsutmaningar inom områden av stor relevans för hållbar utveckling. I utlysningen välkomnas grundforskning och behovsmotiverad forskning inom alla discipliner eller kombinationer av discipliner. Den forskning som Formas finansierar ska bidra till minst ett av Formas ansvarsområden miljö, areella näringar och samhällsbyggande, eller deras skärningspunkter. Du kan söka minst 5 miljoner kronor och max 6 miljoner kronor. Projektet ska löpa under fyra år.

Research Institute doctoral student - Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research (SSF)
The grants will go to employees of a research institute who want to obtain a PhD in science, medicine or technology, and are employed (at least 80 percent) at a research institute, which collaborates with the academy. Eight projects will be granted SEK 3.25 million each. Grants fund research and postgraduate training, will run for four to five years and must result in a doctoral degree. The project must have a steering group consisting of at least the two well-qualified supervisors, one at the university and one at the institute. An extra supervisor can also be appointed at a collaborating company or clinic (if applicable).

International co-investigator scheme -- Swiss National Science Foundation
The Swiss National Science Foundation, in collaboration with the Swedish Research Council, the Research Council of Norway and the Arts and Humanities Research Council and Economic and Social Research Council in the UK, invites applications for its international co-investigator scheme. This supports and facilitates cross-border collaboration between European research partners by funding sub-projects conducted by Swiss-based researchers abroad. Collaborations with researchers in Denmark, Norway, Sweden or the Netherlands may address any discipline.
Denmark, Norway, Sweden and the Netherlands - funding may cover up to 50 per cent of the sub-project costs.
Main applicants must be based in Switzerland or Swiss institutions abroad. Both Swiss and international applicants must have conducted research for at least four years since gaining their PhD. International co-investigators must be based at an institution eligible for their national research council funding.
Grants are worth at least CHF 50,000 each for a period of one to four years.

Clinical research collaborations programme -- European Respiratory Society
This supports projects within respiratory medicine, to build and maintain European multi-centre networks of researchers.
Collaborative platforms may involve multiple stakeholders, such as clinical researchers and translational researchers, with representatives from other specialties, including radiologists, biostatisticians, associated funding partners, patients.
Grants are worth up to €15,000 per year for up to three years.

Quarterly Research Grant Funding Programme -- Cure Parkinson's Trust
These support laboratory or clinical research projects that have the potential to cure Parkinson's disease. Abstract: This notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) invites R61/R33 applications proposing research that incorporates exposures to a stressor(s) during the post-development period (“adulthood”) into studies of aging processes. Research proposed in the initial, exploratory (R61) phase will seek to determine whether exposure to a stressor(s) (e.g., physical, social, and/or environmental stressors of well-defined duration, intensity, and timing) during adulthood results in measurable changes in one or more of the hallmarks of aging. Eligibility: All individuals holding a faculty-level appointment at an academic institution or a senior position at a non-profit institution or foundation are eligible to respond to this RFA.
Abstract: We are seeking grant applications to increase the rate of discovery of the mechanisms of BSyn and, importantly, lead to treatments and/or cures for BSyn. While the RFA is intentionally broad in scope, priority will be given to grants that cover the following areas:
- Improve knowledge of Bloom syndrome tumor biology, including, but not limited to tumor models, tumor sequencing to determine a tumor signature for BSyn, molecular surveillance for tumors, as well as a centralized registry of validated tissue (coordination of sampling, storing and distribution of samples). One 2-year grant for up to $150,000 (total cost).
- Literature review, critical assessment & study proposal, regarding:
i. The impact of sunlight and radiation in BSyn.
ii. Safety & efficacy of cancer treatments in BSyn including modalities, regimes and dosages.
iii. Utility of existing data sets as a natural history study and/or control arm for future clinical trials.
iv. Gene therapy for BSyn.
v. Why and how BSyn can be a model for cancer development in general.
These projects will involve a critical review of currently available information and outline proposed studies that could be performed to better understand the topic(s) in question. Up to four one-year grants for up to $50,000 each (total cost).
- Global cancer surveillance & novel cancer research in Bloom Syndrome, including, but not limited to, establishment of BSyn tumor organoids, collection and analyses of patient-derived blood samples, microbiome studies, and hematopoietic stem cell health and dysfunction studies. One 2-year grant for up to $150,000 (total cost).
National Scleroderma Foundation, US – New or Established Investigator Grant

Amount: The Established Investigator Award is a two-year award in the amount of $200,000 total. Applicants may request up to $100,000 per year (this amount is to include budgeted indirect costs) for up to two years, with the total award not to exceed $200,000.
Eligibility: Applicants must have a doctorate degree in Medicine, Osteopathy, Veterinary Medicine or one of the sciences; must have completed a postdoctoral fellowship; and have been principal investigator on grants from the National Scleroderma Foundation or other national, private or government agencies in the past.
Abstract: The National Scleroderma Foundation seeks applications from promising established investigators both inside and outside the field of scleroderma research who wish to propose pilot studies to obtain preliminary data dealing with a highly innovative and/or highly relevant theme related to the disease. This grant will support pilot research that is likely to lead to more substantial unlimited research project grants from federal or non-federal sources.
