Call for Clinical Research Positions 2027
Region Stockholm and the Karolinska Institutet Research Council are announcing a call for funding to support various types of research positions: specialist training posts for physicians (research ST), clinical postdoctoral positions, clinical postdoctoral positions in caring sciences, clinical researchers, and senior clinical researchers.
The purpose of the call is to ensure the continued supply of internationally competitive clinical researchers and to secure protected research time for research-active clinicians. Clinical research is defined as research that relies on the structure and resources of the healthcare system and aims to address a health problem or identify factors that lead to increased ill health.
The application period opened on 30 January and the deadline for applications is 12 March 2026 at 16:00.
All professional groups within healthcare and dental care are eligible to apply. Applicants must hold a permanent position within Region Stockholm or within a healthcare provider in Stockholm County under another principal that delivers care to Region Stockholm under a healthcare agreement.
