In this workshop, we will have the opportunity to reflect on potential risks associated with international collaborations in a geopolitically turbulent world and deepen our understanding of the topic with the support of Tommy Shih, an invited expert in the field.

About the workshop 

The purpose of the workshop is to increase your knowledge of potential risks and provide you with a deeper understanding and tools to carry out necessary risk assessments.

Places are limited, so make sure to book your spot! Two alternative dates are available: 18 March and 6 May.

Target Group

Researchers from all departments and staff working with international collaboration in education.

Format

  • 30-minute presentation (International Collaboration: Balancing Risks and Opportunities) by Tommy Shih, Head of the Forum for Responsible Internationalisation and Research Security at KTH and Associate Professor at Lund University.
  • 45-minute discussion with all participants.
  • 15 minutes will be available after the webinar for specific individual questions.

About Tommy Shih

Tommy Shih is the Head of the Forum for Responsible Internationalisation and Research Security at KTH and Associate Professor in Business Administration at Lund University.

He is an internationally recognised expert and researcher in responsible internationalisation and research security. His research focuses on global science, geopolitics, and innovation management. Tommy Shih has also worked as an expert in science, technology, and business administration for research funders and government agencies.
