In this workshop, we are given the opportunity to reflect on potential risks associated with international collaborations in a geopolitically turbulent world and deepen our understanding of the topic with insights from Tommy Shih, invited expert in the field.
About the workshop
The purpose of the workshop is to increase your knowledge of potential risks and provide you with an increased understanding of tools to do the necessary risk assessments.
The number of seats is limited so make sure you book your spot! Two alternative time spots are available. (18 March and 6 May).
Target group
Researchers from all institutions and staff working with international collaboration within education.
Set-up
The workshop will consist of:
- 30 minutes presentation (International collaboration: balancing risks and opportunities) by Tommy Shih*, Director of the Forum for Responsible Internationalization and Research Security at KTH and Associate Professor at Lund University.
- 45 minutes discussion with all participants.
- 15 minutes will be available after the webinar for specific one-to-one questions.
About Tommy Shih
Tommy Shih is the Director of the Forum for Responsible Internationalisation and Research Security at KTH and Associate Professor in Business Administration at Lund University.
He is an internationally recognised expert and researcher in responsible internationalisation and research security. His research focuses on global science, geopolitics, and innovation management. Tommy Shih has also worked as an expert in science, technology, and business administration for research funders and government agencies.
