Do you teach a lot at KI? Join our career workshop "Exploring new pathways in academia: Opportunities, barriers, and next steps" where we ask: What do you want your future academic role to look like?

  • Do you spend a significant part of your time teaching?
  • Do you want to explore career opportunities (and manage difficulties) for teachers at KI?
  • Perhaps you would like to create more space for research, take the next step in your career, or develop your role through educational merit and leadership?

Join our workshop Exploring new pathways in academia: Opportunities, barriers, and next steps where we ask: What do you want your future academic role to look like?

Drawing on design thinking, we will envision possible futures and work together to identify challenges, opportunities, and potential pathways forward. KI teacher career experts will be available throughout the event. We will explore both where you would like to go in your academic career as well as organisational and structural conditions that can help or hinder your vision.

The maximum number of participants is 50. Please fill in the application form by the 16th of November, and you will hear from us!

This workshop is a WISE initiative (KI’s network for women researchers and teachers) in collaboration with the unit for teaching and learning (UoL) and is the first of three stand-alone workshops for women at KI with substantial teaching duties.
