Title: Ten Dos and Don’ts I Wish I Knew — Shared by a PhD Student Nine Days Before the Final Boss Fight
Abstract
Enoch Yi-Tung Chen is just nine days away from defending his PhD thesis. Before he enters the stage of the final boss fight, he’ll give a one-time-only general science seminar. It will be a mix of survival guide, failure, and lessons he learned from his four years as PhD student at KI. Ten “dos” and “don’ts” he really wishes someone had told him earlier. All PhD students are warmly invited. Faculty members are welcome too, especially if they’d like to refresh their memories of PhD student life.
