On 25–26 June, the International Society for the Study of Self-Injury (ISSS) will hold its 21st Annual Conference in Stockholm. The conference brings together researchers and clinicians from around the world to share the latest research and strengthen collaboration on self-harm and suicidal behaviour.

Guest speakers:

  • James J. Gross, PhD – Ernest R. Hilgard Professor of Psychology at Stanford University
  • Jennifer L. Hughes, PhD, MPH – psychologist and Clinical Scholar in Behavioral Health at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and Associate Professor at The Ohio State University

Preconference workshop (June 24):

Brief Interventions to Enhance Youth Safety and Reduce Suicide Risk: Safety Planning and Addressing Home Safety with Youth and Parents Training, with Jennifer L. Hughes, intended for clinicians.
