Internal meeting Hearings for academic elections of deans

On February 4, three hearings will be held ahead of the academic elections at KI. As an employee, you will have the opportunity to listen to the candidates for the positions of dean and vice dean (currently vice academic president) and ask questions about their views on the roles within the areas of education, postgraduate education, and research.
The candidates will be announced on the Staff Portal on 22 January. There you will also find more information about the academic elections.

The hearings will be recorded and published for a limited time on the Staff Portal afterwards.
The moderator for the hearings is Peter Andréasson, Director of Communications at KI.
The language will vary between Swedish and English depending on the candidates and participants' preferences.
Those eligible to vote can do so between 4 and 15 February, following the instructions they receive by email.
Listen and ask questions
All employees are welcome to listen and ask questions to the candidates about their views on the work involved in the various areas of education, postgraduate education and research.
Participate physically or digitally in the hearings you are interested in. To participate digitally you need to be logged in to Microsoft Teams and registered.
What is a hearing?
A hearing is part of the process of strengthening collegial leadership at KI. The purpose is to provide insight into the candidates' priorities and create dialogue ahead of the advisory election. The President then makes the final decision on who will be appointed.
