Health economic evaluations in cancer screening and diagnostics

Shuang will use projects from the Health Economics Working Group of the Swedish Consortium for Research on Organised Prostate Cancer Testing as examples to explain the terms and different types of studies. Mark will show an example of cost-effectiveness analysis for AI-assisted pathology. They will also discuss the challenges in conducting health economic evaluations and how the evaluations may potentially influence policy decision-making.
