About the speaker

Sara Hägg is a molecular epidemiologist and associate professor at Karolinska Institutet whose research focuses on biological aging and age-related diseases. She combines genetic, molecular, and population-based data from large cohorts to study biomarkers of aging, including telomere length, epigenetic clocks, frailty, dementia, and healthy longevity, with the overall aim of understanding the mechanisms of aging and identifying factors that promote longer and healthier lives.

Join the faculty event in Wargentin! After the seminar, the faculty lunch will be served in Ljusgården. The faculty lunches are intended for employees at MEB, and a monthly net salary deduction of 260 SEK will be made for those who work here 20% or more.
