The Committee for Research is primarily tasked with developing and strengthening research at Karolinska Institutet.

The Committee for Research supports the Faculty Board by providing expertise and a basis for decision-making on research matters, and makes decisions under delegated authority from the Faculty Board. Meetings are not open to non-members, but agendas, decisions and information about the committee’s areas of responsibility and initiatives are published on the Staff Portal.
