Lectures and seminars CBB bioinformatics seminar: Hidden players in health – how to conduct a microbiome analysis
The Center for Bioinformatics and Biostatistics (CBB) presents a bioinformatics seminar with Ainhoa Garcia Serrano.
Title: Hidden players in health – how to conduct a microbiome analysis
Speaker: Ainhoa Garcia Serrano, PhD candidate
The human microbiome plays a crucial role in health and disease. However, the complexity of microbial communities and the associated technical challenges often hinder the generation of biologically meaningful results. In this seminar, we will explore different methodologies and tools for analysing these communities, providing insights into the strengths and limitations of each approach.
Before the seminar, a limited number of sandwiches and drinks will be served on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 12:00. Arrive early to network with colleagues.
