This year, we are hosting the Learn Bayes book club where we will follow the online lectures by Richard McElreath and his book Statistical Rethinking: A Bayesian Course with Examples in R and Stan (2019: 2nd edition). We will host 2-hour sessions every month over one year, starting on 14 October 2026. The book club will take place in person in Widerströmska huset, Campus Solna.
The book club is tailored towards beginners in Bayesian statistics and is open to everyone.
We will work through applied examples together, build intuitin for how Bayesian models work and learn how Bayesian thinking can benefit your research.
You can earn credits by attending the book club regularly.
