Other A Journey Through the Brain 2026

*Lectures and workshops will be held in Swedish. 

Explore the brain through hands-on workshops, interactive stations, inspiring lectures, and engaging demonstrations for all ages. Whether you’re curious about how neurons fire, want to try controlling robotic claws with your mind, or simply want to meet real researchers, there’s something for everyone at this full-day event.

Morning Session: Families and Children (10.00 - 12.00)

Discover the brain as a family! Children and adults will have the opportunity to join hands-on workshops, visit interactive stations, and meet researchers on-site to ask questions and learn more about the brain. 

Highlights: 

Backyard Brains demo stations:

• "The Claw" - Compete in controlling tasks using a robotic claw.
• "Human-Human Interface Experiment" - Force your siblings arm to move using your brain.

Workshops:

• Truth or Myth Quiz
• Now You See It (11-13 years old)
• Expose your nose (8-10 years old)
• Protect your brain (8-10 years old)

Afternoon Session: Open for All (12.30 - 15.00)

The interactive stations remain open for everyone, and in addition, we’ll host a series of inspiring lectures by leading neuroscientists. Learn about the latest discoveries in brain research, see live demonstrations, and take part in discussions with researchers.

13.00 - 14.30: Talks
