BioNut researcher receives the Alzheimer's Association Research Grant

A researcher from the Department of Biosciences and Nutrition, Karolinska Institutet, has received a career supporting grant from the Alzheimer's Association.
We wish to congratulate Assistant Professor Gefei Chen, at the Department of Biosciences and Nutrition, Karolinska Institutet, who has been awarded a career supporting grant of USD 150 000 for three years from the Alzheimer's Association (U.S.).
He received this grant to evaluate the therapeutic potential of the domain BRICHOS against Alzheimer's disease by simultaneously targeting the two hallmarks - amyloid-ß (Aß) peptide and tau protein.
