Attempted fraud via email and telephone

Be careful not to

• click on links or open attachments from unknown or suspicious senders.
• be cautious about what you say on the phone, as this can be recorded and manipulated.
• pay particular attention to calls where someone offers ‘free services’ or asks unusual questions (for example, regarding job advertisements).

If you become suspicious during a call, do the following:

• End the call.
• State that contact should be made via official email.
