The Conference "Women of NeurotechEU: Empower, Lead, Innovate" is an international event organized by the “Iuliu Hațieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca, under the umbrella of the NeurotechEU European University Alliance, in connection with International Women’s Day.

Taking place on 9–10 March 2026, this two-day hybrid event will bring together women in leadership positions from across the alliance, alongside researchers, clinicians, innovators, and decision-makers, to explore how leadership shapes the future of neurotechnology, science, and society. Through keynote lectures, interactive workshops, and dialogue-oriented discussions, the event aims to create a meaningful space for exchange, reflection, and collaboration.

Day 1 – Monday, 9 March 2026

Day 2 – Tuesday, 10 March 2026

Registration and participation

  • While the event places a special emphasis on women’s leadership, participation is open to all genders, in line with the European value of Unity in Diversity. Early-career researchers, students, senior academics, and professionals are equally encouraged to take part.
