Recognizing Excellence in IoT Innovation
Held at The Claridge in Brussels, the EUCloudEdgeIoT Open Continuum Conference brought together leading projects and experts within the Cloud Edge IoT domain. TERMINET stood out among 50 projects, earning one of the five coveted awards presented during the event.
Highlighting TERMINET’s Achievements
TERMINET’s recognition is based on several key accomplishments, including:
- Seamless Interconnection: Enabling seamless communication between ad-hoc IoTs and edge/core processing islands via a programmable SDN fabric.
- IoT Landscape Management: Addressing heterogeneity and data volume through hardware abstraction and semantic enablement provided by popular cloud orchestrators.
- Efficient Processing: Facilitating efficient processing across the Edge-to-Core Cloud Continuum.
- Secure Orchestration: Ensuring secure orchestration of applications on dynamically attested nodes using advanced attestation services.
About TERMINET
TERMINET consortium combines multidisciplinary competences and resources from the academia, industry and research community, it consists of twenty-six partners from twelve countries.
TERMINET is an active member of the NG-IoT cluster within the EUCloudEdgeIoT initiative, which coordinates a portfolio of projects to enhance European competitiveness in core internet infrastructures.
The vision of TERMINET is to provide a novel next-generation reference architecture based on cutting-edge technologies such as SDN, multiple-access edge computing, and virtualization for next-generation IoT.
