Sophia Hober new chairman of the board of KI

The government has decided to appoint Sophia Hober as chairman of KI's board effective 1 February 2024. She replaces Göran Stiernstedt, who becomes chairman of Karolinska University Hospital's board.

Sophia Hober is a professor of molecular biotechnology at KTH and has been a member of KI's board since 1 May 2020. Her term of office for the presidency of KI's board extends until 30 September 2024.
