Solution for problems with Tortalk during digital exams
Problems with Tortalk as a pedagogical accommodations for students with disabilities during digital exams have been noticed lately. Now there is a temporary solution that can be used by students during a digital exam.
For digital exams, the Tortalk program is used to read up texts, but recently it has not worked properly.
The ▶ button does not work, but now there is the following solution:
During the exam, open Tortalk as usual, then select the text to be read out and then use the shortcut Ctrl+C to start the reading.
If the reading still does not start, press the gear wheel and check "Read from clipboard".
KI's exam invigilators have been informed of this and instructions will be available in the exam rooms shortly.
