Download an app and help us at Karolinska Institutet map how scent experiences change over the day and across different environments in a worldwide experiment. You will be compensated for your time with gift cards.
Think of freshly brewed coffee in the kitchen, rain on asphalt on your way to work, a forest after a forest walk. The SmellIT app captures these moments through four discreet reminders per day over a few weeks, where you briefly describe what you smell at that moment. Your participation becomes data that explains how the scents around us shape our experience.
