Participants sought for studies Beyond symptoms: understanding daily life with autism and/or ADHD
Do you want to share your experiences and help us improve future support and care? At KIND, Karolinska Institutet, we want to learn more about what everyday life is like for people with ADHD and/or autism.

Rather than focusing only on impairments and symptoms, we want to learn about personal factors that influence your daily life. These can include things like your background as well as how you see yourself, thoughts or feelings. Understanding these factors can help improve care and support.
You can participate if you:
- Have been diagnosed with autism and/or ADHD, and/or are a family member or someone close to a person diagnosed with autism and/or ADHD
- Are over 7 years old
- Can communicate your own experiences or those of a family member or someone close to you
What does participation involve?
- Take part in an interview, online or in person in Stockholm
- You talk about your own life or share your perspective on the life of a loved one, focusing on personal factors that may help or create challenges in everyday life
Practical information
- Participation takes about 1 hour – 1,5 hour
- Receive a global gift card (250 SEK/~25 USD/~20 Euro)
- Interviews in Swedish, English, German or Dutch
- If you prefer, you can take part in a group interview with other participants instead of an individual interview
