Update of ki.se on 5 November
On Thursday 5 November, starting after 19:00, an update will be carried out on ki.se, including medarbetare.ki.se, nyheter.ki.se and utbildning.ki.se. While the update is in progress, the website may be down.
Embed content from the research search
It will be possible to embed information from the research search on ki.se. Editors on ki.se can now run a search, with or without filters, in the research information searchand then embed the search results on a page. Overviews can be embedded for groups, publications, people and grants. Examples of overviews: groups can be displayed, for example, as an A–Z list with or without an image, and with or without summary. Overviews of a department’s staff can be embedded in many different ways, such as a list of all the department’s professors.
On Friday 6 November, a web talk will be held about this.
Improved features
- More of the AI answer in the search is displayed directly.
- Publications of the Review type are now displayed under Articles on profile pages.
- It has turned out that no news item appears on the Staff Portal homepage if no date has been set for when “New on page” has not been filled in. It will therefore be mandatory for New on page to ensure that it becomes a news item.
- QBank DAM is updating its connector to make it more compatible with Drupal 11.
- Performance improvements and technical maintenance.
Bug fixes
- The menu has become slightly more consistent across the entire website and is now also displayed on calendar and news pages.
- Images are displayed correctly when news items are promoted to the Staff Portal startpage for logged-in users.
- Problems when downloading reports to Excel have been fixed.
