Nominate to the Dimitris N. Chorafas Prize 2026
The prize is intended for newly graduated PhDs, or alternatively doctoral candidates in the final year of their doctoral studies. To be eligible for nomination, candidates must not have reached the age of 32 at the time of nomination.
The Dimitris N. Chorafas Prize (USD 10,000) is awarded annually to a doctoral student or a recently graduated PhD in medical science from KI as a reward for scientific work of very high quality.
To be eligible for nomination, candidates must:
Defend their doctoral thesis during the period June 1, 2025 - December 31, 2026.
Age limit:
Candidates may not be older than 32 years of age at the time they are nominated for the prize. In other words, in 2026, candidates must have been born after May 31, 1994.
Nomination should include;
An extensive motivation in English, CV, publication list, summary of the candidate’s research (1 page) and the thesis (if possible).
