New procedures for registering for exams in examination halls, spring term 2026

From the spring term 2026, new procedures will apply to all exams and tests held in examination halls at KI. You must be registered for the exam no later than 10 calendar days before the examination date in order to take part. Please read the rules carefully to ensure that your exam can be conducted without any problems.
Registration for the exam
From the spring term onwards, it will no longer be possible to make a late registration for exams.
You must register for your exam in Ladok no later than ten calendar days before the examination date. The final day for registration is specified in the course room in Canvas and on the course website. You must also be registered for the current course occasion. If you only have the exam left from a previous occasion you don't have to be registered to the course occasion.
Please note that this revised procedure applies to examinations taking place from the start of term on 19 January 2026, and that registration must be completed no later than ten calendar days before the examination date.
How to register:
- Find the registration date in Ladok under “Examination dates” on the start page.
- Under the “Not registered” box, you will see the examinations available for registration.
- Prepare for the exam, read the information on the site Examination in examination halls

Update your contact details in Ladok
- Update your contact details in Ladok to ensure you do not miss important information during the term.
- Remind and support each other when it is time to register.
- Make it a habit to log in to Ladok regularly to check your courses and matters.
- Tip: Add a shortcut to Ladok on your phone’s home screen for easy access.
