To take an exam, you must be able to verify your identity. E‑ID cards, service ID cards and national ID cards (from countries within the EU, EEA or Schengen) are now also accepted as valid forms of identification.
The following ID documents are approved for identification at examinations:
- National ID card, from a country within the EU, EEA and Schengen.
- Swedish driver's license.
- Swedish SIS-marked ID card.
- A Swedish service card issued by a government authority.
- E-service card issued by Region Stockholm, or issued by another region in the case of distance learning.
- Swedish or other national passport.
When your ID is checked, you must show your face.
Please note:
- If your ID document has been stolen, or if you have lost it in some other way, a police report of this no more than three (3) months old can be approved.
- Old, invalid or provisional identification documents are not accepted for identification during tests.
