"Journées CORTICO" Symposium at the University of Lille

“Journées CORTICO 2026”, the symposium in the fields of Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCI), Neurotechnology and Cognitive Neuroscience, will take place on May 18-20, 2026, at the University of Lille, France.

CORTICO is a non-profit scientific association founded in France that brings together researchers and academics from these fields worldwide. The 2026 edition celebrates the 20th anniversary of BCI research in France, with leading experts sharing their insights in keynote sessions. The program will feature lectures, oral presentations, poster sessions, and dedicated networking opportunities for early-career researchers. 

The conference will be held in two languages, French and English, with live interpretation provided throughout the event, ensuring full accessibility for an international audience.

Call for abstracts

 

Submissions are now open in two categories:

  1. Early-stage work: Presentation in poster format to discuss a study or project in its initial phase.
  2. Advanced-stage work: Experimental results, case study, literature review, scientific protocol, theoretical analysis, etc. The committee will decide on the presentation format (poster or oral).

An abstract (1000 characters max) must be submitted on CORTICO 2026 CMT Interface + a detailed PDF (objectives, results, illustration, references). Word and LaTeX templates are available in this archive.

The submission deadline is March 10, 2026, and authors will be notified of the decision by April 20, 2026.

 

Application for Funding by KI NeurotechEU

 

The KI NeurotechEU team may fund up to 7 participants (free registration + travel expenses)*. Karolinska Institutet Master students (final-year), PhD students, post-doc researchers, and academics are eligible to apply.

  • Recommendation letter (applicable to Master students, PhD students, post-doc researchers)
