What can I expect from attending the conference?
"You will get opportunities to hear about how we can achieve sustainability in health for both humans and our planet and the necessary steps that must be taken to transform development research for sustainability. The conference will provide opportunities for participants to network with other researchers, students and practitioners involved in development research, both in Sweden and abroad. Sessions will be both informative but also participatory and will foster discourse and collaboration", says Laran Matta, Project Coordinator Uppsala University.
What is the aim with the conference?
"The conference aims to promote networking and collaboration between researchers, public agencies, policy makers, organisations and practitioners, in order to find solutions for poverty and develop strategies for the future of sustainable development".
What are you looking forward to the most?
"We are looking forward to engaging with so many different stakeholders and participants on the future of development research over the 3 days of the conference. We are particularly excited about the Public Event which is a panel discussion about Sweden’s new strategy for development research cooperation and is a part of the conference that is free for all to attend!".
