H.M. Queen Silvia visits KI during Alzheimer conference

On April 21, H.M Queen Silvia visited Karolinska Institutet to participate in a conference focusing on research on Alzheimer's disease, dementia and aging.

The sun was shining on Aula Medica and left colorful reflections in front of the entrance when H.M. Queen Silvia arrived in front of the building, where she was met by principal Ole Petter Ottersen. They will both start today's conference, whose focus is on current Alzheimer's research.
Other speakers during the day included Daniel Ferreira, director of the Center for Alzheimer's Research at Karolinska Institutet, Maria Eriksdotter and Miia Kivipelto, both at the Department of Neurobiology, Care Sciences and Society.
Alzheimer's Day was organized by the Center for Alzheimer's Research.
