Grants to KI from the Swedish Heart-Lung Foundation for tuberculosis research

In the annual grant rounds from the Swedish Heart-Lung Foundation, several researchers in the KI-NET4TB, the Network for tuberculosis research, received important funding.
Johanna Kuhlin, resarcher at the Department of Medicine, Solna, received SEK 1,560 million in a 2-year postdoc returning grant for the project "Adherence, sequalae and toxicity in tuberculosis infection and disease"
Lina Davies Forsman, resarcher at the Department of Medicine, Solna, received SEK 1,215 million for 3 years of PhD research for the project "Risk factors of unsuccessful treatment outcome of tuberculosis (TB) in Sweden - national population-based cohort studies”
Judith Bruchfeld, resarcher at the Department of Medicine, Solna, received a 3-year project grant of SEK 4,2 million for the project "Development and evaluation of new diagnostic tests for tuberculosis (TB) infection with risk of progression and effectiveness of TB treatment”
Susanna Brighenti, researcher at the Department of Medicine, Huddinge, received a 3-year project grant of SEK 4,2 million for the project "Towards precision medicine in tuberculosis (TB): Unraveling immune endotypes for targeted host-directed therapies”
Christopher Sundling, resarcher at the Department of Medicine, Solna, received a 3-year project of SEK 6 million for the project "Investigating the host-response in tuberculosis to identify disease mechanisms and diagnostic biomarkers in children and adults"
