The history of medicine is full of breakthroughs, dead ends and ideas that reveal as much about their time as they do about the human body. In The Medical History Quarter, The Cell presents a new object from the exhibition Me You We – Exploring Human Behaviour every Wednesday at lunchtime.
In fifteen minutes, we explore the breakthroughs and missteps in the history of life science, one object at a time. Topics may include everything from Covid masks, diagnostic manuals and EEG caps to beauty ideals, alternative treatments and objects that show how views on the body, behaviour and health have changed over time.
When: Wednesdays at 12.30
Where: The Cell, Hagaplan 4
Price: Free admission
Language: Swedish or English, depending on the group present
