Virology Next 2026 is an international scientific meeting bringing together leading researchers, clinicians, public health experts, and translational scientists working at the forefront of virology, immunology, emerging infectious diseases, vaccine and antiviral development, and pandemic preparedness.

Registration
Registration is required to attend the conference by August 15 at the latest. Registration link.
Registration fee
The conference is free of charge. However, registration is mandatory.
To ensure that available seats are used effectively, a no-show fee of SEK 1,000 will be charged to registered participants who do not attend and have not cancelled their registration in advance.
Cancellations
Cancellations must be made by 24th September 2026. After this deadline, or in the case of non-attendance without cancellation, the no-show fee may be invoiced to the participant or their institution.
For international participants, any applicable no-show invoice will be issued in SEK.

The conference is organized by the Systems Virology Lab, Department of Laboratory Medicine, Karolinska Institutet, in collaboration with Flemingsberg Science Foundation and the EU-COMBAT consortium.
