Welcome to a seminar with Professor Frederick Alt, Harvard Medical School.

Prof. Frederick Alt is a pioneering immunologist and HHMI Investigator. His research has defined the molecular mechanisms underlying antigen receptor diversification, particularly V(D)J recombination, and the maintenance of genome stability in developing lymphocytes. His work has provided key insights into how aberrant recombination and DNA repair contribute to chromosomal translocations and lymphoid malignancies, with broad impact on immunology and cancer biology.
