About Dr. Pannequin's research
The team works on the molecular mechanisms involved in different stages of colorectal cancer progression to potentially find new therapeutic targets. Thanks to close interactions with the clinicians and new technologies, the different translational projects focus on a better understanding of the role of the microenvironment in the early heterogeneity of tumors and the mechanisms implemented by tumor cells as well as cancer stem cells, to resist treatments, and finally the mechanisms involved in the dissemination and recurrence of CRC.
