Artificial intelligence is rapidly changing the way we work with data – but what does this mean for biostatistics? In this seminar, we explore how AI can support the biostatistician throughout the research process, from study planning and grant or ethics applications to data analysis, programming, interpretation and scientific communication.
We will also discuss the limitations, risks and responsibilities that come with using AI. Expect practical examples, critical reflections and a discussion about how AI can become a useful tool – without replacing statistical thinking.
