Andreas Olsson, Professor of Psychology and head of EmotionLab, Department of Clinical Neuroscience, participates in The Cell's programme series Scientist shows art – an evening where art and science are woven together into new ways of looking at the world. The show takes its starting point in the exhibition Me You We – Exploring Human Behaviour.

During the evening, Andreas Olsson reflects on Fluid Field, an interactive artwork by Gabriel Fontana. Fontana uses sport as a metaphor to explore and change human relationships and social norms. Fontana's interactive artwork influences how people meet, collaborate and relate to each other. In his works, Fontana invites participants to experience and question established ideas about identity, community and belonging. Sport – often associated with competition – becomes an arena for experimenting with alternative ways of being together.

“By creating games with constantly evolving teams, I aim to foster inclusivity and diversity within sports, moving away from rigid identities.”

Fluid field by Gabriel Fontana is one of several installations in the exhibition You, part of the series Me, You, We – Exploring Human Behaviour. The focus is on people's emotions, perceptions and behaviours.

The programme Forskare visar konst (Scientist shows art) is a meeting between art and science presented by a researcher from Karolinska Institutet. Through art, we gain new perspectives, and through science, understanding is deepened – don’t miss this exciting meeting between art and research! No ticket needed – free admission! The event is free and open to the public, no registration required. The event will be held in English
