Welcome to a lunch seminar on Rich Pictures as Data Collection with Anthea Hansen.

Anthea Hansen is a PhD candidate with the Centre for Health Professions Education at Stellenbosch University. Her PhD study focuses on the student perspective of social responsiveness within undergraduate medical education at Stellenbosch University.

In her work, she makes use of rich picture drawings for data collection which provide a creative means for deep reflection and exploration of study participants understandings and experiences. Frequently used in systems engineering, rich pictures offer great potential to explore complex concepts in diverse contexts.

In this seminar, Anthea will showcase examples from her studies to demonstrate how rich pictures can be used to collect data, and you will also get the opportunity to try it out yourself! (if you are participating on zoom, please have pen and paper ready)

You are welcome to bring lunch to the seminar.

Warm regards,

Agnes Elmberger & Terese Stenfors
