Welcome to OnkPat Friday Seminar with Thuy Tran, Docent and group leader at the Department of Oncology-Pathology.

Host: Kasper Karlsson, Department of Oncology-Pathology

About Thuy Tran

Thuy Tran, PhD, Associate Professor, is a principal researcher, group leader of the TRANslational Theranostics Group at Karolinska Institutet and Head of the Theranostics Trial Center at Karolinska University Hospital.

Her research focuses on the early development and clinical translation of targeted radiopharmaceuticals for precision oncology, spanning target discovery, radiochemistry, molecular imaging, radionuclide therapy, and early phase clinical trials.

Her multidisciplinary team develops next-generation theranostic agents to improve the diagnosis and treatment of solid tumors through precision medicine.

Some examples of the targets that her team are developing radiopharmaceuticals for imaging and treatment include TROP2, HER2, PDGFRbeta, GRPR, and FAP.
