Lectures and seminars KIND Open Webinar: School-wide Positive Behaviour Support

How can schools work systematically to create safe learning environments, promote positive behaviour, and prevent behavioural challenges? In this KIND Open Webinar, Peter Karlsson provides an introduction to School-wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS), a research-based framework used to strengthen both students' development and the school's learning environment.

Peter Karlsson has many years of experience in training and supervising schools and other organisations in positive behaviour support and has written several books on the subject. The webinar focuses on schools but also touches upon preschools and how positive behaviour support can be applied in other settings as well as at an individual level.
The webinar opens with Ulrika Långh, who introduces the speaker and describes how positive behaviour support is used within Habilitation & Health. Ulrika Långh has extensive experience of working with evidence-based behavioural interventions for children with autism and other neurodevelopmental conditions, as well as collaboration between habilitation services, preschools and schools.
