Did you know that the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) funds medical research? And not just in military populations.

Example programs from this year include but not limited to:

  • Autism
  • Amyotrophic Lateral Scierosis
  • Breast Cancer, Kidney Cancer, Lung Cancer, Melanoma, Ovarian Cancer, Rare Cancers
  • Traumatic Brain Injury and Psychological Health
  • Chronic Pain Management
  • Hearing Restoration

After a long wait, the US congress finally passed the spending bill on March 23, 2024. CDMRP announced USD 1,51 billion appropriations to FY24 to 35 research programs shortly after that.

These information seminars will take place online on April 18 (Thursday) and May 7 (Tuesday) between 12.00-13:00 as different research programs announcements are released at different time.

Please reply to your attendance no later than April 17 and May 6, respectively to christine.chang@ki.se in order to receive the meeting link.
