Title

Beyond Cervical Cancer: The Broader Benefits of Human Papillomavirus Prevention

Abstract

HPV prevention is one of the great success in public health. While its role in preventing cervical cancer is well established, growing evidence suggests that benefit of HPV prevention extend beyond the cervix to other HPV-related cancers, and possibly healthier pregnancy outcomes. In this talk, I will share recent research from our team on the health benefits of preventing HPV, and discuss how strengthening HPV prevention programs can contribute to both cancer control and maternal health. I will also briefly introduce who we are, the data we work with, and what we are currently excited about. Hopefully this will spark some ideas for collaboration!
