MBSR is an 8-week course for anyone who wants to reduce stress, improve their wellbeing, and develop a more mindful approach to everyday challenges. The course is based on evidence-based mindfulness methods.

  • Presence – develop your ability to keep your attention in the present moment
  • Stress management – practise mindfulness to become more aware of your thoughts and find a more sustainable way to deal with challenges and stressful thoughts
  • Wellbeing - mindfulness training supports mental health and a sense of balance in everyday life
  • Community - share experiences and practise together with others in a safe and supportive group environment

About the course

  • The course focuses on practical mindfulness exercises and shared group reflection activities.
  • The MBSR programme includes a silent day (7–8 hours)
  • For the best results, participants are expected to carry out daily mindfulness exercises at home between course sessions. 
  • The course is free of charge and conducted in English. Priority is given to those who can attend all sessions.

Target group and group size

  • KI employees and people affiliated with KI with an @ki.se email address. 
  • Group size: 8–12 participants.
