KI's programmes aim to provide students with the best possible conditions for learning to lead, continuously develop and work in collaboration with other professions.
We therefore look forward to inviting you to a discussion on interprofessional learning (IPL) with Helen Conte, Med. Dr, NVS, and IPL promoter for the specialist nursing programmes at Karolinska Institutet.

Interprofessional learning (IPL) occurs when two or more different professions learn with, from and about each other with the aim of being able to collaborate effectively in the future to improve patient safety and human health. IPL during education is a natural strategy at KI, and students should therefore participate in interprofessional learning activities together with students from different programmes at an early stage.

The aim of the webinar: To provide good examples of interprofessional learning development on KI's campus and in work-based learning.

Target group: Teachers and clinical supervisors who are interested in developing interprofessional learning for students at KI.

Language: Swedish

Guest speaker

Helen Conte has extensive experience of IPL in specialist nursing programmes and has contributed to several publications on IPL/teamwork in intensive care and ambulance care. In this Bites of Learning session, we will focus on how we can develop IPL in all of KI's programmes and how we can work together to ensure that students achieve the programme-wide interprofessional learning objectives. Helen will share examples of how IPL has been implemented in specialist nursing programmes.
