Join us for this Bites of Learning webinar where Pawel Kozielewicz shares insights from a student-centered project exploring perspectives on assessment at KI.

Assessment is a fundamental process in teaching and learning landscapes and plays a big role in students’ learning. It measures students’ knowledge, skills, and competencies. Assessment is evolving to balance rigor, fairness, and inclusivity honoring diverse cultures and language in the process.  

Objectives of the session: To spark a discussion by sharing results from a recent survey among master students at KI focusing on assessment. 

Target audience: Teachers, course leaders and program directors and researchers, examines, students 

Why should a person attend? Our teachers need to rethink their teaching to have students centered approach and one way could be to know their perspectives to enable them to develop assessment practices.  

Guest speaker

Pawel Kozielewicz is an Assistant Professor and team leader at the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology, Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden. His research focuses on molecular pharmacology, specifically receptor biology and signaling. He leads the "Molecular Pharmacology of GPCRs" team and teaches courses including Advanced Receptor Pharmacology and Bioinformatics in the International Master’s Programme in Translational Physiology and Pharmacology at KI. He also supervises pharmacokinetics seminars and research projects 

Moderator 
Arash Hadadgar is a lecturer and educational developer at Karolinska Institutet. Arash’s expertise spans educational development, medical education research, e-learning, and assessment.
