Lectures and seminars An overview of Taiwan's data resources.

Abstract: Despite having 1/12 the land area of Sweden, Taiwan's population is more than twice as large. There are a number of population data resources in Taiwan that in the last decade have become increasingly used to conduct high impact population-based health research. Data resources span insurance claims, electronic health records, biological samples, and genetic data. Oftentimes, analyses that are possible with Nordic data resources may be possible with Taiwanese data resources as well. I will present an overview of these resources, considerations for access and use, and discuss challenges and opportunities.
